A brand-new pizzeria and sub shop opened on Sept. 20 in the plaza on Pefferlaw Rd., and 17-year-old owner, Trinity, is operating the oven.
“My family was on the lookout for a business we could all do together,” said Trinity, while running the register and taking orders on a very busy Halloween Night.
The new take-out place is so popular that pick-up orders were flooding in and customers were lined up on Friday, Oct. 31.
Trinity is a recent graduate of Sutton District High School. “I can’t wait to serve you the best pizza in town. I grew up here, and I know how much everyone missed having a local place to grab a slice.”
Her new location has been home to several fast-food restaurants over the years, including TNT Stone Baked Pizza, Harry & Ginger’s Pizza and Pefferlaw Pizza & Subs.
Local MPP Jacob Mantle is among those celebrating the addition to Pefferlaw’s food scene.
“There was a pizza-sized hole in Pefferlaw, but now it’s filled thanks to Trinity’s Pizza,” said Mantle, who highly recommends the original Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Pizza.

The opening was attended by Mayor Margaret Quirk, Ward 5 Councillor Lee Dale, Pefferlaw Lions Club President Brian Busby, and several board members of the Georgina Chamber of Commerce.
Locals have been buzzing on social media.
Lorraine Hales posted, “So glad to have a pizza shop again!”
Patty Holtrust from Ben’s Pharmacy wrote, “Whoo hoo … yippy Trinity.”
Guinness Brz-Case commented, “Congrats and great success! We’re looking forward to it.”
In addition to her growing menu of pizzas and subs, Trinity is selling homemade slices of apple pie for $6 each.
“They aren’t always available because my Aunt Cathy makes them, and sometimes she doesn’t have time.”
Trinity’s Pizza is located at 281 Pefferlaw Rd., by the tracks. Check Facebook for daily specials, apple pie availability and updates.
