GEORGINA, Ont. — Police north of Toronto say they’re investigating an incident of vandalism at a synagogue in Georgina, Ont.
York Regional Police say the alleged incident took place earlier this month at the Chabad Jewish Centre.
They say a temporary hut built for use during a Jewish religious holiday was damaged, but did not provide details about the nature of the vandalism.
Police allege a sign on the property was also vandalized.
No suspects are currently in custody, and the police service says its hate crime unit is leading the ongoing investigation.
