York Regional Police have released a photograph of the suspect wanted in connection with a brazen bank robbery that occurred on Friday, Oct. 23 in Pefferlaw, at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The suspect is still at large and police are seeking the public’s help in identifying him.

The robbery occurred at the CIBC Branch at 254 Pefferlaw Rd.

Police say the suspect entered the bank and made a demand for money while pointing a Taser at a bank employee. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot.

The male suspect is described as a white male, between 40 to 50 years-old. He has a slim build, and short dark hair.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black T-shirt, a black face mask, a green construction jacket and carrying a re-usable grocery bag.

Police are seeking any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious or anyone who may have dashcam footage in the area at the time.
