Offering dozens of customizable flavour combinations, Pop Goes Bubble Tea serves up fresh bubble tea to Georgina.
Pop Goes Bubble Tea, located at 183 Simcoe Ave. Unit 4c in Keswick, opened in September and Rachel Nocera, general manager at Pop Goes, said they have grown a regular customer base who stop by every week.
Marilyn Mair, owner of Pop Goes, said they have had a lot of positive feedback from people who love the drinks they make, but there are still many who don’t know they can get bubble tea in Keswick.
“We love bubble tea, and anytime anybody wanted bubble tea, we had to drive up to Newmarket. We thought Keswick really needs a little bubble tea store, so we opened it,” Mair said.
Mair describes bubble tea as a unique experience that many people in Georgina may not have had.
The top sellers are the Cosmic Sour Fizz’s, Miar describes them as a fizzy, sour lemon with a flavour shot of your choice. They even have a Red Bull flavour!
“The Brown Sugar Milk Tea is a favourite, if you have a sweet tooth, it’s super yummy,” she said.
“The Shaken Green Tea is also a big hit, fresh brewed green tea with your choice of flavours.”
The most popular toppings they have are strawberry, lychee and blueberry popping bubbles, mango star jelly, and freshly cooked tapioca balls.

Mair has lived in Keswick since 1993 and has been a business owner here since 2011 with her first business, The Kocky Dog Vape Shop, located in the same plaza as Pop Goes.
“We have created original recipes, like the sour lemon fizz or fresh milk series that other bubble tea stores do not have available, and we encourage the community to experiment with our customizable drinks menu,” Nocera said.
“We are not a franchise and do our best to source authentic high-quality ingredients from Taiwan for our customers. Our number one goal is to provide friendly service that makes you want to return and to benefit our community.”
Pop Goes Bubble Tea is open Mondays to Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..
