Looking for love, laughter, or a little creativity? From lattes and art nights to swims and comedy shows, Georgina is full of Valentine’s Day ideas.
Art lovers can start early with a Couples Painting Workshop at Elpida Café on Tuesday, February 10 (6–7:30 p.m.). Hosted by Artistic Approach Studio with the talented Janet Harpley-Aco, couples will paint a beach sunset on paired canvases customized with hearts, roses, or balloons. All supplies are included, plus a free drink to sip while you paint. The studio is right next door to Elpida, making it a perfect creative collaboration. For information, see elpidaroastery.com and click on the WORKSHOPS link.
Still feeling artsy? Bailey’s Homestead Restaurant hosts a Valentine’s Paint Night on February 11, inviting couples to enjoy dinner and drinks before settling in for a relaxed, no-experience-needed paint class with Clarissa of Creative Canvases by Clarissa, well known for her fun and welcoming painting workshops.
Make Valentine’s Day extra creative at Crock A Doodle in Georgina. Paint together, laugh together, and create something special to take home—from mugs and bowls to love-themed keepsakes. The cozy studio is perfect for date nights, friends, families, or solo creators.
Little cupids are covered too. Crock A Doodle is hosting a Kids Night Out: Valentine’s Party on Friday, February 6 (6–8 p.m.), featuring Valentine painting, pizza, games, and plenty of fun (pre-registration required).
On February 14, Jackson’s Bistro invites families to a Sweetheart Costume Breakfast Party, complete with a kids’ Valentine card craft table.
If your love language is coffee, you’re in luck. Elpida ‘s Latte Love Workshop on Saturday, February 21 (6–8 p.m.) offers hands-on espresso training, plus the all-important skill of topping your latte with the perfect foam heart—because nothing says love like great coffee.
Prefer something more active? Take the plunge at the Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Swim at the Georgina Leisure Pool on February 12 (6.45pm), or at the MURC on February 13 (6.15pm), where your sweetheart swims for free.
For laughs, head to The Beach Lakefront Bar & Grill in Keswick on Friday, February 13 for a comedy night with the hilarious Cathy Boyd, a fan favourite from Canada’s Got Talent.
No matter your style—romantic, creative, or just here for the laughs—Georgina’s got your Valentine covered.
