Investigators with the York Regional Police #3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking a suspect and any witnesses following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Georgina.
On Sunday, November 13, 2022, at approximately 6:35 p.m., police responded to a convenience store located on Dalton Road, south of Black River Road for a report of an attempted robbery.
Officers learned that the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot prior to obtaining anything.
The suspect was described as male, white, approximately 30 years of age with a heavy build, wearing a mask, blue latex gloves, jeans, a camo backpack and a black jacket.
Investigators are seeking any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or anyone who may have dashcam or video surveillance footage in the area at the time.
