Georgina rocks! But also waltzes, steps and hip-hops!

The “Let’s Dance Around the World!” fundraiser for Georgina Cares, held at the ClearWater Farm Barn on October 29, was a whirlwind of fun, bringing together over 30 dancers, several generous local businesses that donated items for a silent auction, and a big crowd of cheering supporters.

At the entrance, to greet the guests there was a stunning sculpture of a dancer, created especially for the event by Wayne Smile.

The inspiration for this event was a conversation with Meghan Bold, owner of Bold Steps Dance Studio, who shared how Georgina Cares had stepped in to support kids in her studio. This charity truly puts smiles on kids’ faces and gets them dancing!

This dance-tastic extravaganza, hosted by friends of ClearWater Farm, was brought to life by like-minded volunteers who came together to make a difference in our community.

Steeve Chwojko took us on a whirlwind tour of dances from around the globe through a captivating multimedia presentation, while the dancers from Bold Steps Studio left us awestruck with their diverse dance performances.

Our special guest Kendra Shae-Marie Mullings brought the vibrant energy of Jamaican dances, and Niki Patel mesmerized the audience with dances from India.
We had a twirl of a time while making every step count for a great cause!
