Forrest Jones Entertainment is bringing more than just tribute tours and music to our region for the holidays! Each show also raises money for charity and worthwhile causes.

On Tuesday, December 3, “A Tribute to Ed Sheeran & Elton John” at the Stephen Leacock Theatre raised approximately $1000 for the Good Food Collective, and earlier in the year, “Abba Revisited” raised $2000 for the Georgina Ice Junior Hockey Team. Peaceful Hearts also received $1500 for a January performance of “The Original Eagles Tribute.”

On December 11, Forrest Jones Entertainment also presented the “Elvis Wonderful World of Christmas” which raised funds for the Shades of Hope Wildlife Refuge.

Forrest Jones, owner and tour manager, said, “Honestly, we want to be the Jerry McGuire of this entertainment business.”

His company donated over a thousand dollars worth of tickets to the Georgina Cares Auction, held at the end of November, for some of their shows at the Stephen Leacock Theatre.

Jones is a past resident of Georgina and said, I’m one for trying to help as many as I can, but the need is so great everywhere, we are just trying to be a bit of a voice, or try to make a bit of an impact for some people, or things, (animals) who don’t have a voice of their own.”

Forrest Jones Entertainment recently announced that the winning non-profit, the Salvation Army Georgina Community Church, at the 2024 Georgina Business Excellence Awards will be offered some of the proceeds of the “Abba Revisited” show planned for March 16, 2025.

If your a “Parrot Head” of “Parakeet,” don’t miss The Jimmy Buffet Tribute Show at the Stephen Leacock Theatre on Thursday, February 13.
