Pride Georgina will host Georgina’s seventh annual Pride Day event, “No Prejudice, All Pride,” on Saturday June 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Georgina Ice Palace in Keswick.
The indoor celebration will feature vendor booths, live music, performances, interactive activities and family-friendly programming. Pride Georgina is a volunteer-driven organization celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Georgina and surrounding areas.
Grant Peckford, co-host of Georgina Life on Rogers TV, and board chair of Pride Georgina, said, “Pride Georgina is about building a community within our community. Our annual event is a safe, joyful space where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated. We can’t wait to celebrate our community in June.”
Peckford said the organization is using the Georgina Ice Palace as its location because of the support of the Town of Georgina and a collaboration with the Georgina Public Library.
Opening ceremonies will feature remarks from Jared Big Canoe of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation, Superintendent of Community Services for the York Regional Police Sarah Riddell, and Mayor Margaret Quirk.
Mayor Margaret Quirk said, “Celebrating diversity and fostering inclusivity is at the heart of what makes our community strong. Pride events like this offer an opportunity to stand together in solidarity and show our commitment to ensuring equality for all. I encourage everyone to attend and share in the celebration of our vibrant and diverse community.”
The event is free to attend with tickets available through Pride Georgina’s website.
Musical performances will include Rock’n Soul Sisters, Champagne Top’Her and The Debbie D Band.
Peckford said, “Thanks to the friends of the popular Devereaux Dolls the celebration will close with an amazing performance by three fabulous drag performers. What would Pride be without our local Drag Queens!”

This year’s event will also include a fundraising barbecue, with York Regional Police officers at the grill. Partial proceeds from the barbecue will support the Georgina Community Food Pantry.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the event.
Applications are now open for vendors, volunteers and community partners interested in taking part in Pride Georgina 2026.
Indoor vendor booths are available for $75 and include a 10-foot by eight-foot space with free electrical access. Local businesses, artisans and community organizations can apply through the Pride Georgina website.
Volunteers are also needed, and no previous experience is required. Pride Georgina says it strongly encourages applications from members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and all equity-deserving groups.
