The day of love sneaks up on us every year; here are some ideas of what to do this Valentine’s Day, and weekend, in Georgina.

For a romantic dinner you can still make reservations at many local restaurants around town.

The Beach Bar & Grill, in Keswick, is offering a special Valentine’s Day menu with live music by Dino on February 14 at 6:30 p.m. Call for a reservation at (905) 989-0701.

The Corner House Bistro, in Keswick, will be offering a condensed menu with features for Valentine’s Day. You can call (905) 476-4800 or visit their website to make a reservation.

Shoreland Restaurant & Bar, in Keswick, is having a Valentine’s Day dinner special on February 14, and they are having the Shoreland Weekend of Love Party with live music on February 10 featuring Justin Wain Country and February 11 featuring Mr. Mad & The Mad Men. Call (416) 735-0067 for reservations.

Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge, in Keswick, is offering a Valentine’s Day choice menu and dessert special. For reservations call (905) 952-3129.

Lake Simcoe Arms, in Jackson’s Point, will be offering a Valentine’s Day menu. Call (905) 722-6666 for reservations.

Lakeview Restaurant & Bar, located in Ramada Jackson’s Point Resort & Spa, is offering a Valentine’s Day set menu on February 14. To make a reservation call (905) 572-6232 ext. 2. You can also book a special overnight stay at the Ramada with their Valentine’s Month Package, which is valid until February 28.

Looking for something else to do on February 14? The Georgina Leisure Pool, at 5279 Black River Rd. in Sutton, is holding the Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Swim from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. where you can bring your sweetheart for a swim, and they swim for free. On Saturday, February 11, Georgina Pride will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by running “For The LOVE of DRAG” Drag Show at Ten Gallon Bar & Grill at 446 Davis Drive, Newmarket. Join The Haus Of Devereaux, Georgina Pride and Ten Gallon Bar & Grill for food, drinks, prizes and a show. The event is 19+ and tickets to get in are $15.00.
